Enologica Bologna : 3 days of wine & food made in Emilia Romagna.

From the 19th to the 21st of October 2019 Palazzo Re Enzo will host the event organized and managed by Enoteca Regionale.
Eno-tourism is a key element in the development of the territories.

Lots of confirmed players, but first and foremost lots of new entries for the 2019 edition of “Enologica”, the Exhibition of Emilia-Romagna wines and typical products, an event where wine and food of the Region become one with environmental and cultural features making Emilia-Romagna unique.

The venue for the event is once again the wonderful Palazzo Re Enzo, in the very heart of Bologna. The exhibition was organised by Enoteca Regionale Emilia Romagna, thanks to which Enologica has attracted an increasingly number of exhibitor companies, Italian and foreign players of this sector and has reached an increasingly wider audience – thus marking a constantly positive trend for the last few editions.

A commonality of interests along the whole via Emilia, backbone of a land of excellence, promoting the peculiarities of different territories, starting from the real protagonists: wines with designation. Among which Albana and Sangiovese for Romagna, Pignoletto for the Bologna area, Fortana for the Ferrara area, Lambrusco for Modena, Reggio Emilia and Parma areas, Malvasia for Parma and Piacenza areas, Gutturnio for the Piacenza area, together with a large number of native wines.

Enoteca Regionale Emilia Romagna has been working with well known professionals in the wine and food communication sector for the 2019 edition, such as Luca Gardini and Adua Villa. The Exhibition also encompasses a rich agenda with food events; cooking shows will be performed by the most interesting Chefs of the " via Emilia" (from Piacenza to Rimini) while professional Sommeliers will make wine pairings and will conduce worshops on regional wines.

On Sunday the 20th of October wine lovers are expected at FICO from 6 pm 18, for “Tramonti Divino”, the road show that has brought for the whole summer regional food and wine excellences on the beaches and in the art cities of Emilia-Romagna.

On Monday the 21th, there will be an entire day exclusively dedicated to professionals operating in the food&wine sector on Monday, as well as an award ceremony for the “Carta Canta” Award for restaurants, wineries, bars, holiday farms and hotels in the Region - in Italy or abroad - offering a quality selection of regional wines in their menus.

In addition, this year will be presented “Mediterranean Cheese and Wine – MCW”, European Union campaign that promote respect for the environment (MULTI-C-2018 - REG. 1144/14) in collaboration with Naxos and Samos Greek islands.
 

 

During the whole fair, a special stand will be positioned at the main entry, and will present typical  mediterrenean products, like the “Graviera Naxos PDO” cheese, Samos PDO wines, mostly made of Muscat grapes, and more or our Emilia Romagna regional wines.
