The restaurant and wine shop Incantina, in the modern reality of Frankfurt opens its doors to the Consorzio Vini di Romagna, a really important consortium that brings together wineries and producers of the Region Emilia Romagna’s area that stretches from Bologna to the Adriatic coast.
The opening of "Incantina" dates back to September 2009 and, in recent years, an incisive promotion activity was carried out to spread, even in Germany, the understanding of local products of the Emilia Romagna region. The restaurant has more than 300 square meters of space, a central bank provided with visible cells with glass panels and service tables for food and wine tasting, as well as display cases for wines and products. It is also provided with a dedicated room for meetings and presentations, and the outside has an area for summer use. But Incantina is not only a restaurant, a meeting point for business presentation, it is also a retail shop of wines and product imported from Emilia Romagna.
2017 is one rich year of new events, starting from promotions that the Enoteca Regionale Emilia Romagna has already started where visitors, both trade that consumer ,will find so many wines in promotion for tastings, as well for purchases of wines.
The promotions will also continue in collaboration with the many Consortium of the region departing from Wednesday, March 22th, 2017 when the Romagna producers will meet from 11 to 17 the German food and wine operators (buyers, restaurateurs, journalists) for a series of trade meetings, and from 17.30 to 19.30 the event will be open to the public in order to let them deepen their knowledge of PDO and PGI wines of this area. The Romagna wines will be paired with typical products of the traditional cuisine of Emilia Romagna prepared in the restaurant InCantina. In particular the visitors will have the opportunity to taste a typical cheese like the Squacquerone di Romagna and the Brisighella DOP oil, thanks to an interesting introduction by the Consorzio.
Romagna, this area of renowned quality products, such as Sangiovese and Albana, will delight your senses through wines with interesting and anecdotal accounts, as the Centesimino, the Longanesi grapes (Bursòn) and the Famoso, tickling your wish to discover this wine region ... and Incantina is ready to show it!
