Colour: more or less intense straw yellow, sometimes with greenish reflections. Aroma: distinctive. Taste: distinctive, from dry to sweet, well-balanced. A semi-sparkling type is also available. Perlage: lively, fading (in the semi-sparkling type). Minimum total alcohol content: 10.50%. Serving temperature: 8°-10°C. Suggested food matching: cold cut meats, hot and cold fish and meat starters with savoury pies.
